I have tried suberging the outer bowl in warm water, using dish detergent where the glass bowls meet, also used cooking oil and tapping gently on the countertop. nothing has worked.

They look like lady bugs, but have a strong odor. The have invaded my house. These bugs were actually flown in to get rid of the gypsy moth problem and now we are infested with these. I live in Virginia, and I have heard others in the state are having a problem with them as well. Please someone help me get rid of these bugs.

Okay... now what I'm thinking of is a flat circle that u can put things on and u can spin it around...
like my grandma has one on her kitchen table that she put a vase of flowers in the middle and put salt and pepper shakers around it, along with sum other things, and if what she is looking for is out of view she'll just spin it til she finds it...

i want to call it a carousel but there ain't no way in hell its that, at least its not what ppl. would think of when u say carousel...

so if you can help me I'd appreciate it....

WE PURCHASED A MODULAR HOME HERE IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA. WE ARE PUTTING THE HOUSE UP ON 10 FOOT PILINGS AND NOW THE INTERIOR FLOOR FROM ONE END OF THE HOUSE TO THE OTHER IS 3.5 INCH DROP IN 60 FEET. I CAN NOT FIND ANY INFORMATION ABOUT HOW FOR OFF LEVEL THE FLOOR IS ALLOWED. I HAVE HAD A HOME INSPECTOR CHECK IT OUT AND HE DOES'NT KNOW THE ANSWER. MY LOCAL BUILDING INSPECTOR ARE ALSO UN-ABLE TO GIVE ME ANY INFO. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE ALLOWABLE FLOOR VARIATION IS. I NEED PHYSICAL PROOF ON WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECAITED.

We live in a mobile home with slider windows, not windows that go up and down.

Do they make air conditioners that are meant for this style of windows? I hope so, as trailers can get beastly hot in the summer!

If so, where would I find this style in the US?

I bought a small cactus from Wal-Mart. I have a very Black thumb and don't want to kill the poor thing but it needs to be repotted! I bought regular Miracle-Gro plant soil. Will this work well? Is there anything else I can do to prevent myself from killing it? I can't spend much money and don't have many resorces.

I live in North Mississippi and there's alot of moisture in the air right now. Even under a carport looks wet though we haven't had much rain lately. We can't afford the climate controlled storage sheds so that's not an option. We have only had this unit for 2 weeks and hopefully wont have it but about another month or so. I hate to think about my stuff being ruined by the moisture making it damp, musty and/or moldy. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate them.

Why is the front of the house with the big porch always faceing the road? How come the best looking part of the house, doesn't face the back yard? Everyone spends more time in the back yard then the front yard, yet the best looking part of the house is in the front yard. Why?

Well I know for sure that it is not. We have today been gazumped on the deal we had made for buying a house. We have also sold our house and should be moving out in just over a week. We are now going to have to do the same to the buyers of our house.
I feel very angry and don't know if there is anything we can do.

During the past 3 months, my house has:
burned out several new light bulbs
spontaneously turned the garden pump on and burned it out as well
killed my dsl modem
spontaneously turned the heating off time & time again

Have I somehow displeased the gods of shelter? Do I have a poltergeist? What's going on?
