We discovered worms in our inground spa. The worms were needle thin and looked like they had a head on both ends. We have chlorine in the pool but it did not seem to bother these worms. They swim around in it like it is their native habitat.

Anyone else have that same issue?

My family is moving from Louisiana to Tennessee. I looked into PODS, but they don't operate in our area of Ten. (Cookeville). It would cost us roughly $850 to use U-Haul and to pack ourselves and this isn't including gas. Does anyone know of any other ways? We set aside only $1000 for the move. We have a 3 bedroom house to move, but no big kitchen items (like fridge and washer and dryer), just living room and bedroom furniture and other household items. Any ideas would be appreciated.

How do greenhouses work? Do they have special lights that give the same effect as the sun? Are they expensive to have or maintain?

I've heard that left-over coffee grinds are good for plants! If this is true, my plants can have all they want. I'm a caf-fiend! Drink lots.

So now I am really wondering. How much is too much for them? And can I just water them with the left over coffee? I'm totally serious, here.

Ever hear of it? And did you ever here of P.Allen Smith? He is supposed to know all of this kind of stuff, but it might take to long to email him, and I'd rather ask you! Thanks!

There are random bangs coming from my aluminum air ducts throughout the day and night. They make it very hard to concentrate and to sleep. What could they be? My mom and I just moved into this house in July. Could it be the house settling or something else? Thanks!!

I live in a flat that has not central heating, storage heaters, or coal fire, there is no gas, so I have to use electric heaters.

At the moment I am using a couple of halogen heaters. In your opinion, which type of electric heaters are most efficient, cheapest to run, etc?

I have two labs that run the perimeter of the privacy fence and are causing the ground to become muddy and there are moles ripping up the ground (actually making the dogs dig after them). They are inside dogs so they are being watched when they're outside but sometimes we aren't quick enough to catch them before they make a small hole. This wasn't that big of a problem during summer and fall but we don't know how to get the grass to grow back quick enough during the SC winter. Aslo...If I never saw another mole tunnel in my yard I would be a happier person but I don't know how to get rid of them. My back yard isn't completely trashed right now but it will be in another month if I don't do something soon. This is me and my fiancee's first year as homeowners and were not sure what to do. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm open to almost anything that won't be harmful to the dogs. Thanks.

Hi

Can anyone tell me what BTU rate I would need for a radiator in a room of 4m(l)x5.5m(w)x2.6(h). It seems very confusing to me!

Some git nicked ours when we put it outside for a few hours whilst we were decorating! Now it is very cold in our living room!

The place where the tap joins the body of the radiator is dripping really fast - it's already soaked the carpet and is coming out through the light fitting downstairs. I've put a basin under the leak and switched off the system, but it's still dripping. Is there any way to take that radiator out of the loop till I get a plumber tomorrow?
