There are "roach bombs" that you can purchase. Is your home located right next to someone elses? If so, you need to see if they have the same problem. If they do, you need to bomb on the same day. It is very important to take everything out of the cabinets and drawers, leave them open when you bomb. Take all of your things from the cabinet and put them on the table and cover with a sheet as tightly as you can, to prevent you from having to wash everything. It may take a couple of attempts to get them all. There is also a spray that can be used in the cracks and crevices. Probably best to get an exterminator for that. These pesticides can get pricy, so you might just want to pay someone that can guarantee you they will take care of the problem for one flat price. I used to live in military housing, 6 units to one large building, roaches were always a problem if you couldn't get everyone to cooperate. Good Luck - Happy Holidays

take boric acid and mix with a little powdered sugar the sugar draws the roaches in to the acid it kills them they die back at the nest and the baby roaches eat them. it takes a little bit of time but it does work i'm an ex military dependent and lived all over the u.s.a. this is one of the tried and true remedies. good luck if you are in an apt. complex those living next to you will need to do this too or they will keep running from one place to the other.

Mixing equal parts boric acid powder and sugar is good. The roaches do not get immuned to this powder like they do sprays. They get this on them and carry it to the others. The sugar draws the roaches to this and they lap it up like zebras at a watering hole. 40 roaches via 1 dead roach will die. They eat their dead. Mixing equal parts flour and boric acid powder and adding sugar and adding enough water to make little balls will kill them. This is an old Chinese way. This can be put in small places. By the boric acid powder in the stores there are some gels that have syringes that make it easy to put it in cracks and small places. Hotshot is one of them.

You can try roach bombs but they don't always work. I would call an exterminator. They will know where to find the source of the problem and can be very helpful.

Since I have their termite plan, I just called terminex and added their pest control plan. Been 3 years now, and if I see anything they are just passing by outside.

Boric acid, it is very effective when used properly for killing cockroaches and most other insects. You can also get a house lizard, they are natural enemies and will eat them. More information at http://tinyurl.com/ofxkk
