Hi

Can anyone tell me what BTU rate I would need for a radiator in a room of 4m(l)x5.5m(w)x2.6(h). It seems very confusing to me!

Some git nicked ours when we put it outside for a few hours whilst we were decorating! Now it is very cold in our living room!

Room size = 4m x 5.5m x 2.6m = 57.2 c/m x 35 31 = 2019.732 c/ft +3% for air change = 4.100.0559 btu/hr/ft squared
Pick the nearest size radiator to this figure and go possibly a little higher depends whether you go for a single or double skin radiator

Best way is to measure the dimension of the area that the other one occupied, remember was it a single or a double and then go to Travis Perkins or a Plumb Center and buy a new one. Don't forget the valves etc. If you wish take your room dimensions with aspects shown (North, south etc) position and size of windows to these heating merchants and they will work out the size for you.
Best of luck and have a happy Christmas.
