We have several nice items to sell such as an antique dining table and a handcrafted drafting table. With it being so near Christmas we are not sure when would be the best time to sell furniture. We will run an ad in the paper listing specific items to help draw people out but I wonder if its better to wait until Spring for this sort of thing. (Though we live in the South and its quite warm for winter)

Thanks!

I know that individual sprinklers have heat-sensitive bits in them, but if one sprinkler is set off does that trigger all the other ones in the building, or is it just that one that goes off? On TV it usually looks like they all go off, but it seems like it would make more sense for them not to. So what really happens?

Can anyone suggest a birdfeeder that prevents squirrels AND black birds from eating all the food? This is what my mother has asked for Christmas but I don't know if it exists. Thanks in advance!

It's growing in the corner where there's a good supply of fresh water and ceiling timbers and plasterboard. It's a sort of bracket fungi, flower shaped, light brown with a creamy edge to it and the biggest one is around 3inches round.

There's a great deal of dry rot in my house and is there any way to prevent it from spreading? I know I need to change parts of the roof and floor, but at the moment I can't afford it. The dry rot seem to attack some type of wood more than others or is it just a matter of time? Would paint have any affect?

Just curious as thats all the cash ive got. Not talking about buying land or hiring builders, this is just for materials. I heard polystyrene blocks filled with concrete are cheap and easy to build with? Any one tried using them?

We stopped and bought split firewood from some guy on the side of the road, brought it home, lit it, and it will NOT burn no matter what we do. We bought a ton, what do we do now? Are we SOL?

What do I need to do to winterize my pool . I live in Fort Worth TX . We bought our house last Febuary and have not yet had to winterize it . We are used to the Chicago-land area and would have to completely close it down . My wife seems to think there is a series of events to take care of this . I simply have set the freeze temp to 45deg and hooked up the auto sweeper .

Can someone please give me some advice as to what we need to do so I can get her off my back and have some pease in my life ... Thank You .
