If its raining out does a plant need to still be fed by the chloroplasts? What about for the entire week if it rained and there was no sunlight for the week? Thanks.

I think the plant would slow growth at first in response to lack of light. It would probably die after a while without light, but not a week. If the plant is not over-watered it can survive on light from indoor lighting for about 6 months. The leaves get smaller and thinner to compensate for the lack of light. its me on a different account. Well I know that but on my science homework. Could a plant die if it didnt have sunlight, but it was raining all week?

I would reduce the amount you are adding but still keep feeding it
