A bucket of water slushed down the bog with much gusto. That'll shift the little bastard.

I'm not sure if this may help, but you could try pushing it into the exit drain with the toilet scrubber and then try flushing. Hopefully the suction should take it away.If it is too big to go down, you could try breaking it up with the toilet plunger or also with the toilet brush.

Break it with a stick then flush it again. Or you could put on some rubber gloves and throw it out

This is a tried & tested cure - Put loads and loads of loo roll down the bog. I mean, like, a quarter of a roll. Then flush. Hey presto!

No joke, it works a treat.

Poor a bottle (large bottle) of vinegar into the toilet and leave it for as long as you can.

Overnight would be good.

Then flush and it should go.

You can do anything with vinegar.

Dunno. I'm still pondering that one!
Had an urgent need one day so called briefly at a friends house.
The result was enormous - my GP and mother woulda been so proud. However, her hubby also nipped in after, and I heard a little scream emanating the bathroom.
I've never lived it down since. Perhaps I shoulda sent Tigger in. (He's always looking for Pooh!)

Is there a way to get a pair of tongs, remove it, bag it and toss it? If it's not going down you may not want it in your septic system.

While you're at it, toss the tongs too.

Oooh. You are in a sticky situation.
How about you just smash it up with the toilet brush and then throw away the brush and buy a new one?

put your foot in and stamp on it?

place 4 bath towels alongside it and press "flush", it will now be on your bathroom floor - you should be able to reach it now

get yr Father in law to shift it, tell him - that it is his from the last visit?
