I'm looking for a sliding glass patio door to replace mine. I would like it to have a little window or a little opening on the top half of the door, so that I can open the window to let fresh air in without having to open the whole door.
I have searched online, but have had no luck finding this so far.
Thank you.

My parents love to sit in their screened in porch outside in the summer, but I'd love them to use it in the winter too. In the winter they put up plastic around the entire porch to keep the wind and cold out. What could I get for them to keep it warm in there? A fire pit usually needs to be outdoors because of the gas it will give off. Any ideas???

This is a serious question. I hate getting into a cold bed in the winter. Flannel sheets help a little but not enough. I've read that electric blankets aren't good for you. Any other suggestions (skip the sex ones, lol)?

I'm twenty and my husband is twenty three. I was 17 when we bought the house. We have two children and live in a cape cod style house. It's 1 1/2 stories. It's a great neighborhood, but I think that it will be small for growing children. Our house is on 2 lots, and the neighborhood is growing, they are knocking down the older houses and building 250,000 to 350,000 dollar houses. I want to know what is a good age for us to buy a nicer two story house. What is a better age to buy a home 25, 28? We can afford a 1,000 mortgage a month. My parents bought their house at age 41. What would look better for us age wise for a mortgage lender to take us seriously. I have new credit and no problems. We have a great apr 5.75. Should we do a 40 yr term to save money? Or what? I don't know. Please help! Serious answers

WHAT I AM REALLY LOOKING FOR:

I want a website that gives an example with #'s and equiptment for how I can make my deck/patio feel like it's 80 degree's when it's really like 15 degrees outside. I don't care about the cost of the heaters but I want to see a website that talks about a working example of something like this and the equiptment used.

Thanks very much

I have found a beautiful antique cookbook and would love to write something memorable inside along the lines of the kitchen being the heart of the home and cooking with love etc. etc. I have gone blank. The machine is frozen up, the wheel will not turn, the bobbin case is stuck but the screw that is suposed to remove the gib won't turn. For now, I've given the entire machine a good oiling which hasn't been done for years but if I try to turn that screw any more, I'm going to strip it. I removed the hook that it catches on so that I can hand turn the wheel and get the screw in a better position but that didn't help. There is another screw at the base of the entire bobbin case and I wonder if I can't remove that screw and remove the whole bobbin case - not just the gib as the instructions call for but I'm afraid I may get in too deep and not be able to get it back together.
