My parents love to sit in their screened in porch outside in the summer, but I'd love them to use it in the winter too. In the winter they put up plastic around the entire porch to keep the wind and cold out. What could I get for them to keep it warm in there? A fire pit usually needs to be outdoors because of the gas it will give off. Any ideas???

We bought a gas fireplace for our screen in porch and hooked it up outside to the gas line where the BBQ comes off of.and it was a disaster. It was very wet and too cold to sit there. And with the plastic around the whole porch, it just doesn't sound like a great idea to warm it- Just my observation since we spent money and it was a waste!
