House warming inscription for antique cookbook?

A dear friend who loves to cook has bought a beautiful old english manor house on acres. I have found a beautiful antique cookbook and would love to write something memorable inside along the lines of the kitchen being the heart of the home and cooking with love etc. etc. I have gone blank. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Make Good Food and Have Good Friends Just dont make your good friends your food...
