Can anyone suggest a birdfeeder that prevents squirrels AND black birds from eating all the food? This is what my mother has asked for Christmas but I don't know if it exists. Thanks in advance!

They make a "sqirrel resistant" feeder, you can find it at Wal-Mart, Lowes, or Home Depot. I don't know if it would keep away the blackbirds.

If you can't find one, maybe she'd like a subscription to BIRDS AND BLOOMS Magazine. I subscribe and it's a great mag. just type in Birds and Blooms in the address bar.
