The Optima 2 is the control panel and it is this that is beeping not the sensor. Somehow 'chime' has been set on that zone so the panel beeps when you walk past. Chime is usually used on doors so you get a beep sound when anyone walks in.

Heres what you do to remove chime:

1.Day mode should be showing.
2.Press CHIME, day indicator will go off.
3.Enter '0' - chime will be switched off.
4.It will automatically return to day mode after a few seconds.

If you wish to ADD chime (eg. on your front door) do as above but instead of pressing 0 at number 3, add the zone number of your door.

To remove a zone:

1.From day mode enter your code.
2.During the exit tone press OMIT.
3.Now enter the zones you wish to remove.
(If you make a mistake press 0 and try again).
4.Once zones have been accepted the system will return to exit tone - either leave or put your code in to stop it.

Hope this helps.

well it just so happens i have just upgraded to an optima 3 with laser tracking and bluetooth compatability for better smoke coverage the thing about the old 2 series is that the electrical neutron particals in the earths crust triggers the alarm's micro balistic beeper to beep when you walk past..
evidently do you live next to a volcano or a magnetic field or a fault line on the earths crust {tectonic plates these cause earthquakes} or do you have a ghost in your house {consult a medium or priest i do knock down cheap excorcism christmas special buy one get one free - valid until dec 23rd usually i charge £30.00 p.g - per ghost. but i do an all inclusive package £50.oo all in further %10 discount when you apply on-line quoating referance - ghostinmygaff.
good luck with your alarm...
p.s no polter geist as there a pain to get rid of and won't leave even when i beg anything else jobs a gooden..
i work job and knock no weekends or dss}
landlords welcome no milk tokens no luncheon vouchers i can do mass exicorcism for cheap but one whiff of a polter and im off site.

There were so many woodworking plans with this collection and you will not believe this but there are over thousands plans in the one package deal. Go here https://tr.im/bkxgu
This is really something to find that many all together. For someone like me who is just really starting to get involved with woodworking this was like letting me loose in a candy store and telling me I could have anything I wanted. That was my dream when I was a kid.

Sorry mate, I think the only way that you will find out is to read the instructions, or alternatively contact the manufacturer in the morning.
