buy a narrow strip of land off me. It's only a couple of metres wide and perhaps 20 metres long (exact figure not calculated as yet). I'd prefer not to sell, but I will as they are decent people and never give me any bother. I have absolutely no idea what to charge him. Is there any way which this is normally calculated (eg % of value of my land etc?). This will also involve removing a strip of hedge. Can I insist that he re-instates this hedge to my specification? He wants to put a beech hedge in but it's a hawthorn hedge and I'd rather he keeps it that way.

I am trying to obtain a wide variety of ribbon for making ribbon watch bands. Stripes, dots, patterns, etc. I've come across some good sources, but they only seem to offer stripes and dots...hoping for something with more variety. Thanks!

Its all benn serviced, its working as it should, but when it comes on in the morning, it sounds like the trombone section of a brass band, so, I have another winter of looking forward to getting up before everyone else does, to put the heating on, so I can run off some water from the hot top,as this stops the noise.....help!

Who do I buy land from? I'm tired of shelling out half my salary to 60 year old crystal meth addicts. Will global warming eventually stir things up if I decide to move to this tax-free wintry paradise?

A lot of people had emigrated here, I wonder what''s so good about here, people here are not very nice and even in private apartments, the most number of dogs you can have is only three. So many laws to follow and the houses are so small and expensive.
And the worst is that it doesn' t have the four seasons. You can get sunburn easily and the snow city doesn't amaze me. people here play all day annd people in singapore have a large percentage with myopia. Sad but true, the most in the world.

I live in a 1976 condo. I have recently remodeled by bathroom to include a washer dryer. The Board found out about it and they want me to take out the washer/dryer plus restore the bathroom to its original plumbing. Can the Board do this? I thought the Board can act only on common areas. Is the plumbing on the bathroom considered common area?

We live in an apartment that has roaches. I told the landlord three months in to the year of our first year but he didn't do anything until 2 weeks ago. I have just recently sent our second year lease back last week. The roaches are getting worse. Is it grounds to request that I brake the lease? I have found a better apartment. When I move I do not want to take the roaches with me. How do I prevent that from happening?

It is a metal insert fireplace. The house is about 10 years old, with a very steeply pitched roof. The top of the chimney is a bit below the highest peak of the roof. The chimney has had about a foot added to extend it, but that didn't seem to help.

ok I NEED a rational explaination before i scare myself. Its 3:20am Im on my computer in the same place doing the same thing i ususally do everyday, listening to music like normal, its just deep purple. But in the background not part of the music I keep hearing a regular noise it sounds like a low key note on a wood wind instrument, the sketchy thing is Ive never heard it before and its too regular to be coincidence.

HELP its scaring me LOL and I dont even know why???!!!!???

I have been overrun with those pesky Asian Lady-Beetles, and just found out I am allergic to them. They are literally driving me mad. Are there any tips as to how I can keep them from getting into my house besides extermination? We are in the process of remodeling and dont have the extra funds available to exterminate. I am looking for cheap easy to do and readily available ways to prevent them from coming in. Please help!!!
