there are these bugs in my basemnt i want to get rid of but have no clue what they are. The bugs have legs like a grasshopper but thier bodies are shorter and fatter. Thier brown and bigger then a grasshopper. what the heck are they and how do i get rid of them???

I would think it is... but my brother says that the "loop" part will lose it's "loopiness" and it could develop mildew.

Used as a mixing valve and sending on to volume control valve to supply whirlpool tub- Does it matter which one of the two outlet holes is used so long as the other is plugged?

I saw this quilt in a shop in Amish country in Indiana. I asked the name of the quilt and was told it was Rubik's cube. I have searched everywhere, and the closest I come is Tumbling Blocks, and it isn't the same. Help!!!!!!

I need ideas for what pattern to use in a quilt I am getting ready to make. It needs to be a fairly quick project. I am using airplane fabric so the pattern needs to be large enough to show off the airplanes. Any suggestions?

the seed pods are verry round: about 1 to 1.5 inches in dia. the spines are about on half inch long. the "thing" turns form green to a greenish purpal to a light brown
it was found in tucson AZ in the month of oct.

please tell me what it is!

I have eaisily over 2000 ladybugs in my room at the moment and I was wondering how I could kill them with out the bad smell that emit and without using a vacume cleaner. I was thinking maybe some sort of trap but I dont know how I should make it or whatever but they r really annoying they r buzzing around. plz help

How can I get rid of chipmunks (no violence please) that are burrowing in my garden. They are starting to cause my sidewalk to shift and a rock wall is pulling away from the foundation of the house. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

I just purchased a fireplace screen to go in front of the fireplace... We have a screen that slides in front of the fire but embers will pop out or the logs will shift and a couple times they have rolled out. I got the screen so the cat wont lay in front of the fireplace and risk get hurt by flying embers or hot logs rolling out on to him. But we have noticed that even though the screen is metal/mesh... it seems to block a lot of the heat. I was wondering if it is acting as a heat sink, the heat hits the metal screen that is sitting on ceramic tile. If you move the screen it gets really warm in the living room really fast. Anybody else experience this?

Hi. A friend of mine was working on a bunny cage for my rabbit, and he was arrested (nothing big, were still friends) and didn't finish it. Since he was building it outside, it's been there for a while- through rain and autumn (filled with leaves), there are bugs in it- like maggots. So I was wondering if there was any process or product that would allow a bug-hater like me to get rid of them, but still be safe for a rabbit to be around. I can't deal with poisons, not when I'm going to put a pet in there later as a home. So are there any suggestions? 'Cause I REALLY don't want to get personal with these creepy crawlies.
