I agree, I never saw the point of them myself, another bunch of thing to get dusty, broken, mess your house up with ....
On the other hand if they give people pleasure then live & let live .... in a way I wish my Mum did collect them as birthday presents would be a lot easier !!!!!

My husband and I hate ornaments so we never buy thing like that and I make sure that if someone buys that for me I ask for the receipt. Or I just throw them away. I keep them out of my home at all coast. And no I don't care if I hurt someone feelings,

Talk about a few ornaments around a house,yes, imagine office cleaning where someones life is stuck in their face and all around them.And they expect you to polish,scrub,and worship all their little whooseys.Fat chance.

depends what you have... silly little figures of indians or stuff like that is pointless... however a nice small statue in your hallway could make the whole room look a lot nicer.
