Go to your favorite L&G Center and get a 1025 Hav*a*hart Trap. You can capture them alive and relocate them to a better living area. They cost somewhere around $25 but they're made of steel and last forever.

Pellet gun, shovel, and a few spare time. I often take a seat around and once I hear one chirping, I head exterior and shoot it. they do no longer continually chirp, so specially circumstances while i'm working exterior, i'm going to deliver out my pellet gun only in case I see one. I take them to the trench line in the outdoor and bury them. Any chipmunk is able to amassing so assume all are one. i do no longer decide to shoot them, yet I do it as a results of fact they chunk up the rubber seal on my storage door to get interior. I only lose interest with changing it each and every twelve months.

Get a female (fiesty hunters) kitty cat - the chipmunks will be too quick for them but they'll also move to a safer habitat.

Best wishes,

pup

the best advice I got once was this: find out what preys on chipmunks (what animals hunt them). then take the scent of that animal and put it around your garden. the chipmunks smell the scent and stay away.
