Used as a mixing valve and sending on to volume control valve to supply whirlpool tub- Does it matter which one of the two outlet holes is used so long as the other is plugged?

Look up Grohe on the web. We had a problem & that is what we did. they were very helpful & sent us what we needed to fix the problem.
