A lot of people had emigrated here, I wonder what''s so good about here, people here are not very nice and even in private apartments, the most number of dogs you can have is only three. So many laws to follow and the houses are so small and expensive.
And the worst is that it doesn' t have the four seasons. You can get sunburn easily and the snow city doesn't amaze me. people here play all day annd people in singapore have a large percentage with myopia. Sad but true, the most in the world.

I have been living in S'pore for 4 years, but that was in the late 70's when it still had a bit more "character", and even some houses with garden (if you had the money). Since then, I have been visiting about once a year, and I still get a bit "home sick"....
Yes, it can be a bit boring, and you are somewhat limited what you can do. But it is clean, (relatively) safe, most people are friendly (even if it is an "educated" friendliness, not necessarily coming from the heart), and the food is just excellent....!
A few idiots are in every country, and the stringent laws are necessary to keep such a densely populated place clean, organised, and harmonious,(considering you have 4 races to manage.

just to correct u....public housing only allow 1 small dog although ppl do break rule by having a few small dogs or big dog at home. pls be awared that a proportion of the community is made up of muslims and they not particulary fond of canine.
Sg housing may be expensive but the food is great, cheap. Security is good. Sg may be a supressed country w 'democratic' in disguise, it is still essentially a good place to stay for Foreign Talents.

I think Singapore is a nice place to live in.
They might have so many strict rules but it's the way they keep or maintain their City clean and keep the place away from criminals and abusive people.
I'm planning to visit there some time because I've heard that they have lots of great places to visit...

I think Singapore is a great place. It's safe, clean, modern, beautiful and full of possibilities. There is plenty of choise of nice food, it's a good place for shopping and everything is well organised.
I know a few Singaporeans, almost all are very nice (the only exception are my gf's parents, they are truly horrible people as they hate me for no reason !)
True...it is expensive, but I say it's worth it.

I like Singapore it's easy to get around , friendly people, great food and shopping. The only thing that I objected to was that it's only a few miles from the Equator(hot). I plan on returning.

Singapore to me is more then jus a good place to live in..Its my home and it is this flaws that i love.. If everything is too good to be true u will be askin for more and well.. nobody is perfect and so is a country :P
There is no other country that is better then your own!
