yea its ironic that the US brought those little bastards over to take care of the aphids in the fields. now we have a problem. the only thing you can do is caulk everything. once they are inside just suck them up with the hose attachment from your vacuum cleaner. good luck..

hi....here in Minnesota they haven't been as bad this year as in past years.....It's been the box elder bugs that have invaded this fall. I just know about vacuuming them up and emptying your bag right away. There is also a pesticide spray available that you use like bug spray especially for them. I can't remember what it is called because a couple weeks ago when I went to purchase some the hardware here was out and didn't think they would be ordering any more this season because it is past peak for them here. Maybe you could google for that and you may find something or look on ebay for something. Good luck.

Did you have them last year.? Every time they come in they leave scents called fermion's and these things will come back or at least they will be drawn to anyplace that they smell these fermions. Exterminator at Apt. I manage told me this. so, you have to wash anywhere they have been. Use a bleach solution. About 10% maybe a little more than that. Wipe all doors and windows. Preferably on the outside to make them turn and leave. If they have gathered in any spots on your walls wash those areas down too. It's not enough to kill them or to throw them out. You have to wash where they have been to keep them out. OK? Good luck.

There are a few traps you can buy, they work because the Asian lady-beetles are attracted to light. You can vacuum the ones in your house and try a garlic based misquito spray, they seem to hate the stuff.
