I have adjusted the screws behind the faceplate does not make any difference, cannot increase hot water pressure. Have the same valve in another bath no problem works fine. Anything else I can do or should it be replaced?

I've been installing a light fixture. Wires in the fixture appear to be correctly wired. However, it does not work. I have a Levitron switch which is flickering. A working one in another room does not flicker. Therefore, I think it is a switch issue. I've taken the meter to the wires going into and out of the switch. All appear dead. This leads me to think the switch is broken. How else can I test to see what is broken? (Hopefully, not the wiring)

I have an air compressor with a 15 gallon tank and a 3 HP motor. It will build about 5# of air then slow down to almost nothing on RPM. I have removed the belt and motor runs fine. I have also tore down compressor and it all looks good but still no air build up. Any suggestions would be great.

It uses a mineral purification system rather than chlorine or bromine, if that makes a difference. Anyway, I opened it this year and it had tons of algae in it, so I shocked it to get rid of the algae and it is finally gone. Now, it has tons of little particles floating around in it that are making it extremely cloudy. I change and cleane off the filter all the time and the guy at the pool store says the water chemicals are perfect. WHAT THE HECK DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET RID OF THESE FRIEKIN' PARTICLES???

When the air is on, the house is cool. Its just when I have the air on too long, water starts to leak out from the filter located on the top of the ceiling of the inside of the house. This is for the home. Central air.

I’m sure there is an easier way then totally refinishing the table to bring back the shine to this small smear. It looks as if something was spilled on it and then wiped away, although I don’t know what it could have been. I’ve tried using the dark Old English but it didn’t help. It hasn’t damaged the wood, just the surface shine. Please someone give me a solution to this problem.

I've looked into the state & federal programs-there's nothing I qualify for
or that is available.

Looking for someone who can donate time to do or help do repairs.
Even someone who has knowledge of how things should be done, would be helpful.
(Most of repairs not incredibly difficult, but do require someone who has done this
stuff before)

I need some stucco repaired, drywall in one room, some damaged wood replaced,
some holes dug for replacement fence posts and some assistance repairing the fence.
Also need to replace some window cranks for according windows.
And need some plywood cut to cover windows in case of future hurricane.
(I have plywood-I'm just not able to cut it)

I could probably pay something, but not allot.
I have misc items that could be used for trade: golf clubs & bag ,
bowling balls, several clothes dryers that need minor repairs, misc garage stuff.
