I have adjusted the screws behind the faceplate does not make any difference, cannot increase hot water pressure. Have the same valve in another bath no problem works fine. Anything else I can do or should it be replaced?

Your most likely cause for this symptom is that the "balancing spool" has frozen up. Turn off the water to the house (don't forget to cut the power to the hot water tank first) and remove the handle and faceplate on the diverter valve. you should see a penny-sized brass disc with a slot running through it. use your largest flat blade screwdriver and unscrew. you will find a cylinder, which is the "balancing spool". It is basically is a cylinder with moving parts inside that are supposed to move back and forth. try shaking it lengthwise. If you don't hear the inner part rattling inside the outer cylinder, its frozen up. You might be able to free it up by shaking it vigorously lengthwise, otherwise call Moen direct and they should be able to get you the right part for your model.

how old is it? u might have hard water, calicum buildup onthat side of the valve or someother blockage, if u can shut the water off to it u can take it apart and see, may just need to be clean out or might need to be replaced. u should be able to turn off the hot water to the valve at your hot water tank.

I had the same problem, just in reverse. Turned out the anti-syphon valve was all screwed up. Had to get a new unit.
