There is tar paper with thick black adhesive on the floor and it is impossible to scrap up. The wood floor underneath is getting damaged. It also is taking a long time and alot of work to get it done. If anyone know of a adhesive remover or a easier way to get it up.

Have a 3 bath home. Noticed bad odor occasionally from only one bathroom. Went on the roof to check out the vent, and couldn't find one. The other two have pipe vents coming out of the roof. Was this an oversite on the builder's part?

The dirt stains originated from a large maple tree that overhung the roof. When the tree had to be removed the stains became very obvious.

I suspect that what is causing the problem is my wife's long hair that goes down the drain everytime she showers or takes a bath.

We have a pool and the concrete near the sliding glass door has become very slick, probably from wear. Is there anything I can use short of replacing that GIANT slab to roughen it up?

Everytime the repair man comes to my house to fix my a/c he tells me that if I turn it below 72 Degrees that it will freeze over. Is this true? I have always had it set at 69 to 70. And it always is fine tell something goes wrong then he gives me a lecture. Is there a certain temp that I have to have it set at? I love to be cold and I cant stand to be hot. so Please help me. Thanks! Michael in Utah.

I did a few installations on my PC such as graphic cards, TV tuner, etc and nothing happened to me. Of course, I switched everything off and plug out the main switch. I notice you also need to do this when repairing handphones.

We recently had to replace our toilet bowl because it broke, possibly from water freezing in it a few years ago. We got a used one from a friend but the water level is really high. What determines the water depth and is there anyway to modify it?

This damage was caused by the window fitter when he fitted the window, an improvement the landlord wanted carried out. We have 6 weeks left due to notice on property as she wants the property for her sister to move into but now she has threatened prosecution orders if any further damage is done. We are on the local housing list for a bigger house as we are overcrowded, short of a bedroom for our 14 month old son who cannot share with his 2 elder sisters and have another baby on the way. We fear that if she prosecutes that this will look bad to the local housing association we have applied to and we will not be rehoused. She has accused us of this over the phone and sent several abusive text messages regarding photos of the house and 4 witnesses. I've asked her for names of these people and what proof she has that this damage was caused by us as surely without evidence she cannot prosecute? I've received no reply to my request. Where do we stand on this legally?
