You need to get a dehumidifier. It sounds really bad. I would throw all the mold covered stuff out as mold grows by spores. You should wear a mask and put whatever you carry out in plastic bags to prevent the spores from getting loose. I do not know how to get mold off cloth. I have ended up throwing it out. Bleach or Hydrogen peroxide followed by vinegar or vinegar then peroxide will work on tiles, linoleum, etc. Make sure to rinse with water and dry area. Also try detergents to eliminate discolorations. Unfortunately, if the conditions for mold growth remain, new spores will land on the wood and fresh mold will grow.
I believe mold is always around in the air it just needs the humidity and certain temperatures to grow.

It'll be tough to get the smell out of the furniture. The desk you can probably clean with bleach/water solution. You might try putting it out in the sun for a time.
Check everywhere to see if water is leaking anywhere from pipes, through the walls, everywhere and stop the leak if one exists. If there is liquid water getting into the basement through the walls, you'll need a pump system to get rid of it.
Clean all the mold off the walls with a water/bleach solution. It'll stink up the place (not to mention your hands so wear gloves) but won't hurt you. Then, install a de-humidifier or two depending on the size of the basement.

You can try a blend of water and bleach, but once it gets past a certain point, the mold is there to stay, so you may have to say goodbye to the belongings to get rid of the mold for good. If it is in the walls, you should have a professional company come to remove the mold. If you do it and not do it right, then try to sell your house, you have to disclose the mold to the buyer or be held liable for damages that the mold may cause, and that is medical damages also. When it comes to mold, it may not be the cheapest, but doing it right is the most cost effective in the long run.

First of all you really need to get rid of the humidity in the basement. Install a dehumidifier and run the drain hose outside or down a sink drain otherwise you will have to empty the bucket several times a day. Bleach will kill mold on concrete block but make sure you have adequate ventilation when using it or it will drive you out of your house. Try taking the moldy items outside and letting them sit in full sun for a while. That will usually kill it but then you still need to clean the upholstery.

Sounds to me like you need to hire a haz-mat team to come in and remove the mold. There are companies that will come in and contain it, remove it and everything it has come into contact with and clean the area so that no more will come back. Mold can be a dangerous health situation so you need to get this done quickly. Be prepared to pay...it isn't cheap. Do it right or it will come back and can adversely affect the value of your home. Good luck!

You need to create airflow or ventilation, remove the mouldy items and clean them then spray a anti mould agent to kill the mould spores around the room. Ventilation should help reduce moisture in the air
