remove finger oils from white wash wood?

white washed wood cabnet doors have human oils on them but only in a few spots. how do i fix that so there are no oil stains.

I didn't believe this would work until I tried it - but 2 tablespoons of corn starch in a spray bottle with water. Shake, spray on, wipe off a few mintues later.
