Run to your nearest Hardware store.
Or Garden Center - get a lot of
Earwig bug killer. Spray it everywhere.
Actually - best call a Pest-control Company.
This is probably to much of an infestation for
a couple of spray-cans of bug-killer.
Earwigs are hard to get rid of. They crawl into
every nook and cranny. They are yuckiiiii!!!!!

Call the builder and tell him of your problem.
He might even pay for the Pest-Control guy
to come out and exterminate those little buggers.

Good Luck!

Earwigs like to hang out in moist, dark places so you should try to eliminate debris such as grass cuttings, mulch and wood heaps around your property.

If you don't want to spray, you can trap them by rolling up moistened newspapers and then disposing it.

OR

As someone mentioned earlier, you can also treat nearby areas with a bait to control them but one that's safe to use around pets.

GOOD LUCK!

I think what you are talking about are moisture bugs. An earwig is a song that is stuck in your head!! moth crystals should help your situation though. A fan will also help if you can safely have one run for days at a time.

Any insect spray would kill earwigs. Look for ortho or spectracide. Boric acid would probably do it too. Call Home Depot.

My suggestion would be to buy a dispenser of boric acid powder and Encircle your home with it. Make a ring of It near walls completely around your home and at each point they may enter your living area such as the crawl space you mentioned. You might make several lines at the point you enter your home because human traffic may disturb the insects "Do Not Cross" lines and allow them to enter. This is a deterrent to most other crawling insects too at least as long as the Boric Acid line is there. you may need to replace it after a good rain. Good Luck
