Im staying at a friends house untill the lease is signed on my first apt with my man of 5 years.Now they tell me they wont rent to us......I live in santa barbara (the most expensive spot in CA) my "BF" IS 10 HOURS AWAY and now im homeless what am i gonna do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just bought a house that never had a clothing drier. So since I do not have Gas service, I purchased a brand new Electric Drier. Now I need to run electric for the drier and it calls for a 30 AMP circuit breaker. The home was recently upgraded to a 200 AMP Service and the circuit box in the utility room is the brand "Challenger". I noticed that one of the other 30 AMP breakers had the code "C230" on it. Do I need a Challenger C230 brand breaker or are there other kinds that I can get. My local Lowe’s and Home Depot do not carry that brand.

Hi,
What would the actual dimensions be to a 6 x 14 piece of lumber? I am guessing 5.5 x 13.5 inches, or is it 5.5 x 13.25 inches? Why are the dimensions not actually 6 x 14? This question has been driving me crazy.

My land lord wants me to pay an extra deposit on top of my pet deposit because she clams that because I have a dog (who is house broken) that he might pee on the tile floors which would ruin them causing her thousands of dollars in damages. Have you ever heard of any tile that can be destroyed by dog urine or is she just trying to get more cash. I asked her they needed to be cleaned with any special floor clener when i mop she said no. I would think that some cleaning produts would be harsher on her floors then if my dog had an accedent.

I have lots of weeds in the yard, and I think I have a bug problem too (brown patchy areas, and just plain bare areas). Can I apply a weed and feed and then something to kill the bugs at the same time, or do I need to wait a while between the two?

There are no obstructions in the any pipes or in the trap. The toilet, pipes and septic system are around 3 years old. I think it could be either the toilet itself or the septic tank. All the other drains do just fine and there is no suspect smell or odor from any pipes, near the tank or around the leech field. Suggestions? Diagnosis? Help?

Whenever the washer is between cycles,(wash water drains from washer and fills up for rinse cycle) the water comes into the bathtub for a couple of minutes and then drains out. Is this a serious problem??
