How do I put a rip cord back onto a lawn mower?

If you dismantle the top of the mower, it is pretty easy to see how the cord works. If the cord has broken, you'll need a new one of the right length. If you just have to get it started to cut the grass, there is a notch at the top of the flywheel (you'll see it) where you can hook the knotted end of the cord, wrap the cord around the flywheel, and start the engine.
