Recently bought a house that had a jacuzzi tub, in good condition. However when tub is turned on black specks come out. I think this may be a common problem from teh little research I have done. Any suggestions?

It is mold.
When not in use, before use fill / rise pipe with a bleach solution.
Let the water clean the pipes by running it.
Now I remember:
This Jacuzzi thing really bites.
More work than it is worth it.
I nice hot shower goes a long way.
A shower for two is a lot of fun.

Its mold or algae in the jets. Its a natural buildup. Jacuzzi sells a additive to get rid of it. Check it out online.

You can also try a hot water and bleach mixture
