What is the problem if the water in your tolite is hot,also the handle when you flush it?

It could be hooked up to the hot water line... Turn off your water valve and unhook the line from the hot and hook it up to the cold water line then turn your water back on and it should be cold again after a few flushes..

You could be hooked into the hot water instead of the cold water or you may be getting heating effect on your pipes through the attic. It doesn't necessarily hurt anything to have hot water in your toilet, except for a couple of things:
1. Waste of money flushing hot water down the drain
2. The potential "splash factor" could cause burns in sensitive places.
You could try to see if it's just your pipes heating up by running the cold water at the sink until cold, then flushing your toilet a couple of times and seeing if the water refilling the tank stays hot or not. It doesn't make sense that anyone would have hooked the hot water line to a toilet, but you never know. If it is, I would have someone change it.

Sounds like your water supply coming to your toilet is from the hot water heater and not the cold water!

the toilet (spelled t-o-i-l-e-t) maybe connected to the hot water supply instead of a regular water supply. Call a professional to have it fixed.

THE HANDLE IS GONNA BE HOT BECAUSE OF THE WATER IN THE TANK BEING HOT........IT IS VERY HOT WHERE YOU LIVE, IF YOU ARE ON CITY WATER, THIS IS A TEMPERARY THING, IF NOT ON CITY WATER, ....????????
