I have a cool old (pink) Kohler toilet from around the 1940's for which I would like to replace all of the internal parts. Does anyone know of a source for parts for a toilet like this?

Not a problem. Most parts are interchangable. Just take your old parts to Home Depot or Lowes or whatever and they will set you up with a replacement system.

Hello. My name is Richie. I am a 26 year electrician and a home improvement expert. I will help you the best I can. I had a problem with the toilets in my house. I have been there for about 7 yearsa and the house is 25 years old. Everything was original so when the toilets showed their age by running after a flush, I saw that that the flappers needed to be replaced. Did that but I found out that not all flappers work on every fill tube. To remedy the problem, I rebuilt all the toilets for $20. Take the lid off and put is somewhere out of the way, turn off the water to the toilet and flush it. Get all the water out of the tank and take the tank off. You will spill some water, that is unavoidable. Take the tank and sit it in the floor and sit with it and take everything out and replace it all with the Fluidmaster Complete Toilet Repair Kit w/LeakGuard that you see on the link below. Takes about 20 minutes and your toilet is as good as new. Good luck and God Bless. Jesus Christ loves you.

If you go to Home Depot with your old parts, the associates there will help you fix the problem and even make your toilet work better. Good luck.

My good man. It is so funny I ran across this question. I had one sit in my attic for over 15 years until I moved. And I bet the people who bought the house still have it sitting up there.
