Im staying at a friends house untill the lease is signed on my first apt with my man of 5 years.Now they tell me they wont rent to us......I live in santa barbara (the most expensive spot in CA) my "BF" IS 10 HOURS AWAY and now im homeless what am i gonna do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would offer my friend some rent , and keep looking. why can't you move to a less expensive part of town, or where your boyfriend lives?

Your question is a little confusing is your "BF" who is 10 hours away moving in with you in some place in Santa Barbra or is your man of 5 years a diffrent man? In eaither case, get the man to pay for it as that is what men are for anyway.

you need to check the laws. were you accepted and then they said no? did they do a background check and then say no? you need to look into the lwas of your state or city
