I live in Florida. I'm concerned about the effect of strong winds on my new rolled roof. My question concerns the drip edge - particulary the small space between the drip edge and the facia board. I believe it is this small space where wind can penetrate , get up under the rolled roofing and rip or tear your rolled roofing off - Understand? AGREE? Anyway, I was thinking about using some " Great Suff " expanding foam in this space in hopes that it will keep the wind from getting up in there.. What do you think of this idea? Will it work?

More specifically, I'm looking for a replacement pump. The actual soap compartment of the despenser is in great shape. The pump component, however, needs to be replaced. To note, I am looking for NEW replacement parts.

I've tried cleaning the spray heads thoroughly but to no extent. Is it because it unusually humid out here? Moreover, I've changed thinner brands, does this mean that my current thinner works less potent than the last one?

It could be very difficult. I can bring the nails and hammer. Who will bring the cross? Should we have Jesus make it before we nail him up?

The turf is very thick and unless the sprinklers are on I can not find them and invariably will run over one or more and shatter them. Also, can you tell me to repair them on my own as it's very expensive to buy new heads and have someone come in to reinstall them. Help, please.

ok here is my problem. I just moved into a place less than a month ago. Well 2 days after I move in my toilet starts to leak really bad. I looked at it and it looked like someone just put some type of glue stuff to just mask the problem. Well I did not mention this to the landlord right away because I did not want to seem like I was going to be an annoying tenant but as a couple of days pass the leaking got very bad so I had to tell him. Well anyways... he took out the toilet which besides leaking was in great condition and he replaced it with an old looking toilet that was all moldy and dirty. Well he said he fixed the problem and that I owe him $125 for the replacment of the toilet. I asked him why I owe him. He said because I broke the toilet!! I did not break it. And it is not my fault if it leaks. Well he says I have to pay it. I don't think this is fair. He said the toilet has been there for 40 years with no problems and now its broken. Im only renting this place!I please help!

We've talked to the builder and plumbers. No one seems to know why it smells so bad when it rains.

I have a DG120 Tork timer system. Here is a schematic of the wiring for it: http://tork.com/pdf48w.htm

I believe i have hooked it up correctly but when i turn on this sytem to set the schedule i notice that it is already providing output to the load (which is an outlet jack area, 2 of them, where i connect my pond pumps to). Its very strange because although the timer system says it is "OFF" i am still getting power to the load. The wiring is in a way that the "NO" has a wire connected to it (see the diagram) but there is no wire to "NC".

And here is where it gets stranger. When i move the wire from "NO" to "NC" i notice i only get output power to one outlet jack area and not to both areas. And it still didn't matter if the timer system was showing "OFF". It still was providing power to the one outlet jack.

My guess is the internal switch is damaged and stuck part way between "NO" and "NC" but mostly at "NO" which would explain why it gives full power to both jacks.
