Maybe I'm missing something here, but why not use the filter pump to "move the water"? You can get a time clock and set it to go on/off daily. That way the thing will be filtering while you are away.

It's called a Re-circulating Pump, electric driven. There must be water lines in the walls of the pool with periodic jets extending from the walls. These are adjustable and should direct the water towards the filter where the water is drawn back through the filter and pump.
If you have an inground pool, are these not there?

They have little mechanical fish that swim around the pool by themselves. You can get them at Wal Mart or Toys R Us... oh I just went back and re read what you wrote, I was way off... sorry

There are pool fountains available, but they run off your pump. I'm curious as to why you would want to move the water without cleaning it????
