Does anyone know how I can buy Imported Flower Seeds directly from a supplier? I am IN LOVE with Japanese Morning Glories, but I hate having to pay so much for so few seeds. I would rather 'Cut out the Middle Man' or whatever. I am getting a business license so I will have the option to buy wholesale, I just need some business names.

I have a lonely philodendron leaf that someone gave me in a little cup of water. Will it root? Or do I need a larger cutting?

I also have another one that turned yellow. Why did it do that? Is there anything I can do to save it?

This is the first year I've tried Brussell Sprouts in my garden. We live in north central BC, and planted in the spring. My stalks are now full of them as big as the end of my thumb. We've had a few frosts already and are wondering if we pick them now or wait or what? Thanks in Advance

I have an Evergreen Wisteria, not to be confused with the Chinese Wisteria. It is already about 4 feet tall but not too thick. Where can I grow it? I was thinking of planting it next to my wooden fence and just helping it along with pegs/wire. Will it take to the fence and create a nice display of flowers? Or will it overtake with too much weight on the fence. Please do help, I am in Zone 9 Houston TX.

I spread out fescue today and had a customer request me to spread out "Sevin" granular insecticide. I was thinking that it was kind of late to do this, and i also was worried that it might harm the seed.

Can anyone here tell me?

Thanks!

The main object was to provide shade in a very hot conservatory but I was hoping, eventually for some grapes. The growth rate has calmed down a bit and I am told that I will have to cut it back. Advice please.

Our council is going to run a pilot scheme to collect garden waste, this will save it going into lanfill and will be composted.
I compost my own but some people dont.

It was very well fed and then went next door under their decking. Put poison and traps down but no result. Does this suggest it was just a visitor and not a resident? What is it feeding on? I do not think it is from the Chinese take a way as the year of the rat is next year.

I have a very shady front yard, and want to replace the evergreen bushes in front of my house. The problem is, there are two very large trees in the way, so I need something less than 8 feet high, at most, that will grow well in shade. I'm in Zone 5, and have clay soil. I know that's going to have to be one hardy bush, but can anyone help?

I bought it at walmart over a year ago. Was a very cute little plant. I repotted it and put it in filtered sunlight and it has gotten 4 times bigger. Last night, i noticed this off little offshoot (at first I thought some strange bug had attached itself to the plant) had grown out of the stem. But now I'm curious what it is and if this offshoot is going to be some type of flower.

Here is a link to two pictures of the plant, the first one gives an example of the sprout and to show how long it is, that is my husbands hand for contrast.
