I live in Canada and these past couple of days have been pretty cold, so I thought that now I shouldn't water my plants, abd my lawn anymore. Today though it was getting warm again. So should I continue watering until the temperature drops completely or no?

What can I use to keep the multiple stray cats in my area from pooping/digging in my landscaping? I have tried different types of mulches, the hose, red pepper, moth balls, critter ridder, orange oil and plastic forks and none work. I also have a 125 lb. dog. I don't want to pay for cages and they will just put them to sleep anyway if I catch them and bring them to the pound. Any other suggestions that haven't already been mentioned in this forum?

every morning i sit on my front steps, and drink my coffee while my dog plays in the yard... but i always have to move the slugs before my dog licks 1... i thought i was saving them... i'd lift every 1 with a leaf and carefully place them in the garden together... BIG MISTAKE... only 1 very big slug would be left... so much for saving the slugs... i thought i was keeping their family together so they wouldnt' be lonely... i found out slugs are solitary creatures !!!

My neighbour gave me a lovely plant, but I don't know the name of it, and I don't want to ask her.
It as lots of heart shaped leaves (similar to Ivy leaves), each of which are on their own separate stem which comes from the base of the plant.
It also has pink flowers. Each individual flower is on its own stem which comes from the base of the plant.
Each flower has 5 petals which are teardrop in shape, and which are separate from each other.

I live in Switzerland, so it is a plant which is available here.

I hope someone can help.

We are in a drought and our grass is really not 100%.

We have 2 options.which do you think is better:

1.spread top soil over the whole grass and sow seeds into it

2.spread Dynamic Lifter(Fertilizer) around the grass.

We are in Sydney Australia so it is coming into summer.we water at least once a week(usually Sunday) but sometimes twice a week(wednesday due to water restrictions). We have all types of grass but mainly couch and buffalo. There are also heaps of weeds(Bindii and Catsear).
