My neighbour gave me a lovely plant, but I don't know the name of it, and I don't want to ask her.
It as lots of heart shaped leaves (similar to Ivy leaves), each of which are on their own separate stem which comes from the base of the plant.
It also has pink flowers. Each individual flower is on its own stem which comes from the base of the plant.
Each flower has 5 petals which are teardrop in shape, and which are separate from each other.

I live in Switzerland, so it is a plant which is available here.

I hope someone can help.

I believe you are describing a Cyclamen.

Wouldn't it be easier and more reliable to just ask the neighbor? Without a photo we can only give vague guesses.

My first thought is cyclmen. It's a bit hard without a picture!
