You can jump it and as it runs it should re charge.I have jump started every piece of equipment we own at one time or another.12 volt is 12 volts.just do not try to charge the battery with the cables.Your car puts out to many amps.

Yes on one condition, DO NOT HAVE THE CAR RUNNING!!!!! The car alternator is 10 to 15 times more powerful than the alternator on your mower. If the car is running, the alternator will overcharge the battery and fry it. Plus it might damage any other electrical parts on the mower. So when you jump the mower, hook up to the battery without the car engine running.

I had long heard that to jump start a motorcycle, or even a riding lawn mower, it could be done from a vehicle not running. Nevertheless, I've never done it and was always hesitant to try it.

Your best option is to either put on a slow charge from a battery charger or take it out and get a new one installed.

IF both have the same voltagfe, IF you know how to properly jump one vehicle to the other it can be done quite easily. However, if you don't know how to charge a battery, it's questionable that you have the knowledge to safely jump it. Either purchase a new battery or have the old one professionally (local service station) charged.

Yes, If each are twelve volts. Otherwise, you can get a battery charger that plugs into the house current. It will recharge the lawn mower battery.

good luck

Yes. Just disconnect the cables as soon as it starts. Hook the cables up Positive to Positive and Negative to Negative. Make sure both are 12 volt (which most are now)
