It is overgrown with cattails and other ugly plants and weeds, and I would like to make it look more attractive. It measures about 50 ft long and about 8 ft wide.

I m preparing my veggie bed for the winter time. I want to make square garden beds instead of having a long one. I also want to raise my beds so I do not have to bend over too much. Anyhow, this year I 've had troubles to clear my veggie bed from punctior weeds and other weeds. I prefer organic gardening. My question, should I remove my soil and start all over with my new framed garden beds or should I find a solution to use the same soil but not getting anymore punctior weed next year? Help! As I do not know what is the better way ?

Two weeks ago I planted a Dwarf Crepe Myrtle on the east side of the house. It probably gets about 4 hours of sun in the morning. Well, lately, it's been raining a lot and is always cloudy and about 50% of the leaves are turning yellow and look droopy. It is due to too much water? Or does it sound like it's not getting enough sun? I also planted 2 Barberry bushes in the same area and they look a little stressed as well. Any help is appreciated.

The city cut my maple tree back last fall. It started growing back. Then my husband built a treehouse over the winter. There has been no new growth since winter. There is this scaley gray stuff on parts of it. Some of the new growth from last fall is braking off.

I have a few raspberry bushes which fruited this year on straggly looking canes. Meanwhile big strong canes have grown up which did not bear fruit, rather like the wild 'stock' shoots from a rose tree. Shall I prune it all back? Also, what happens to mint when it has produced purple flower tips at the end?
