Get some ortho max spray at Costco or Lowes. It has a handy sprayer. Spray the outside perimeter of your house and all the baseboards inside your home. You will only see dead crickets in a short while. We have gobs of them too but my husband sprays and the only live ones I see are further out in the patio or yard. If you don't want to do it yourself there are plenty of pest control companies that will come out once a month or every 6 weeks and spray for you. And they guarantee that you won't have any live bugs or they will come and respray.

the previous abode that i offered grew to become into finished of crickets. They have been in my closets and basically come hopping out while i grew to become into looking at television, or what ever. i attempted to get rid of them with sprays, yet that did no longer artwork. I threw those bombs under the abode without good fortune, so I referred to as in an exterminator. He have been given rid of them for much less funds than I had spent for all of the different stuff i attempted. solid good fortune.

Crickets don't eat clothes. They eat seeds. They are beneficial insects that eat *weed* seeds particularly voraciously.
Get a can of Great Stuff (product name) expanding foam and seal the cracks between the foundation and the siding, seal gaps around electrical/gas/AC/cable/phone conduits into the house.

Fairly Smart is right throw out moth balls. You can hide them underneath the furniture and they are sure to leave.

have you taken one to a person who knows bugs for a positive ID? Does not sound like crickets to me. What ever, you will likely have to call in a proffessional fumigator if the situation is as bad as you describe.

DON'T USE MOTHBALLS!!!! They are a killer! You, your pets, poison your water. Try an indoor spray containing pyrethrin. Spread some NoloBait outside to control them.
