Get a clean bucket, fill it with the water the fish are already in, then use a net to pull them out carefully and transfer them to the bucket. Then bring them to whatever area you're now putting them into, but make sure the water is sufficient for them (ie, don't put freshwater fish in saltwater, or vice versa.) You may want to ease them in by allowing the old water to go into the new area as well so they're acclimated to it. Good luck!

Of course this depends on how big your pond is and how many fish you want to catch - do you want to limit the numbers or just share? If the pond is small enough to lower the level - this is the best way and probably least traumatic to the fish.
Otherwise a large fish net poised beneath where you usually feed the fish, and when they come to eat - up comes the net. Presto!!! Good Luck

To make it easier to catch them, drain the pond until there is just enough water for the fish to breathe in, then use a net to transfer them to the new home.

with a hook and gold fish flakes. no really you can drain the water most of the way and scoop them out with a net. have a bucket with water or something near by and as the number of fish decreases then you can drain a little more water. it may take some time depending on how big the pond is and how many fish you have. good luck!

there's only one way to do it if you don't want to work yourself to death over several days or lose you temper
drain the pond until it's only 2" deep, wade in there with good nets and capture your fish and put them in buckets or tubs filled with pond water for transfer
