Do you sometimes walk around your house naked? Or try to sneak by a window without clothes on hoping the neighbours didn't see you? Why do we do that?

I thought I would find it quite easily but it turns out that I couldn't find the area where the pilot light is! Obviously I don't want to be throwing flames around where a gas leak is occuring.... The results may be.......too exciting for me.

I have a concrete step on the front of my house. Paint has been spilt on it and nitromoors used to try to clean it up with the result it is blotchy and untidy looking. It is just plain grey concrete and the only thing I can find is concrete stain for brown concrete. Any fairly easy methods to bring it back to colour?

I just moved into a house that has no bath tub, just a walk-in handicap shower. My two little ones HATE showers, so I need to find a way to give them baths. I can't think of anything other than setting a plastic storage tub in there, but there HAS to be a better way. Is there a product that will convert this shower into a small tub? Or do you have an ideas on how I can accomplish this?

I'm looking for some Do It your self, not to complicated, but just something for the family.
I'm not old enough to drive, and I need soemthing that isn't alot of noise to make.
I can shut my door and make it in the cloest, and then put it underneath the bed (witch is a bed where it's sopported up on posts, has 5 draws, and then it has about 3 feet of empty space)
Please, for the guy named "man" who's answering all of the questions as "If you need something about --- visting this site:" please, don't bug me.

I have a 220 volt line and would like to make an outdoor outlet on the opposite/outside wall. I can run the wiring through the wall but would like to also have 110 volt supply for lighting and 220 volt for heating. Do I just need a fuse box and outlets?

My electric guitar is buzzing on the higher frets, so I've decided to tighten the truss rod to correct all the fuzz. But, I've heard that if you over-tighten the truss rod and you can snap your guitar neck--I don't want that to happen. Is there any way for me to determine the stress limit of the truss rod save having my electric snap in half?

The Yahoo community helped greatly to select the size of the materials to build a 2nd florr for my shed. 2 X 6 beams with 3/4 inch plywood is what I will use.

Question: With 2 X 6 beams, I assume I will need 8 " nails to secure the beams to the wood frame. How many nails on each end to lay the beams?

Also, what size nails or screws to secure the flooring to the 2 X 6 beams?

It may be bakelite but I am not sure yet. Just do not want to ruin the plastic finish with a stripper that is too strong. It has a layer of white paint and a layer of brown paint. It is dated 1940 from Dart Indiana.

I need help trying to figure out how to get my toilet to stop filling. After a flush, the tank start filling and wont stop. And it floods my bathroom. It is to the point that you have to turn the water on to fill it and flush it, then turn it off when it's full again. Otherwise....flood. Most toilets have that air filled ball in the back. This one doesn't. It has a plastic drum... I don't know what to make of it or how to get it to stop. So if anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
