I'm looking for some Do It your self, not to complicated, but just something for the family.
I'm not old enough to drive, and I need soemthing that isn't alot of noise to make.
I can shut my door and make it in the cloest, and then put it underneath the bed (witch is a bed where it's sopported up on posts, has 5 draws, and then it has about 3 feet of empty space)
Please, for the guy named "man" who's answering all of the questions as "If you need something about --- visting this site:" please, don't bug me.

If you have some basic arts and crafts supply. Pretty paper(wrapping paper etc), thread or ribbons and beads. You could make a personalize bookmarker. Example if your mom like to cook, garden and read put cookies, flowers and books on them.

Cut out a 2inches by 6inches thick paper (like a poster board) or from a shoe box. Cover it with the wrapping paper and just personalize it. Use beads, stickers or just draw or use your printer. Then staple ribbons on the end or punch a hole. If you have beads you can put beads through the ribbons.

It's very easy, you will not make any noise making it and it will not take any space at all.

hope that give you an idea. Goodluck

How about a coupon book for each member of the family? Here are some ideas:

Dad: Wash and Wax your car 1 time per coupon (maybe 3 coupons in the book)
Or coupon for raking leaves.
Mowing the yard

Mom: Scrub and Wax the kitchen floor coupons

Sister: Vacuum her room, make her bed, iron clothes coupons

Brother: Do dishes on his day coupons, clean his room, take out trash coupons, etc.

I think you get the idea. You may not think it would be a great present, but I sure bet the recepient would!

We are making shortbread for our family this Christmas. I've just learnt how and it's REALLY easy. Only has 3 ingredients and they're so cheap to make.
You can cut them out with cookie cutters if you have them or just cut them into squares with a knife. I googled shortbread and got so many different recipe's. My favourite was 250 gm butter 1 cup icing sugar 2 cups flour (only don't use ALL the flour save some for the table for when you have to roll it out flat) I don't even own a rolling pin I just used a glass covered in flour.
They taste so yum and I put them in boxes (wrapped in tissue paper) and wrapped them up added a bow and they're under the tree waiting for Xmas.

It's not expensive and it comes from the heart. Depending if you have basic art/craft supplies. If you have old un-used or just plain photo frames you can re-decorate them. You can decoupage them with tissue paper, magazine cut out, photo copied pictures and you can also add embellishment like old buttons, ribbon, sticker, anything you can find that follows the theme you use.
Your family would enjoy this gift.

P.S Just don't use any nice frame you mom might be upset to have them altered

ASKING A QUESTION SUCH AS THIS DO YOU HAVE A COMPUTER IN YOUR BEDROOM. DOWNLOAD SOME FAMILY PHOTO'S FROM THE START OF YOUR FAMILY TILL THE PRESENT AND PUT SOME AUDIO WITH IT AND MAKE A SLIDESHOW FILM AND BURN IT TO A CD AND MAKE A MOVIE AS IF YOUR THE DIRECTOR. THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN WORKING ON FOR MY FAMILY MEMBERS IT'S KINDA OF LIKE A 'TIME CAPSULE' AND IT'S QUIET, DOESN'T TAKE UP MUCH SPACE,IT COMES FROM THE HEART. AND THAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT.
