finished look? the baseboard molding is rather simple. it is flat, about 3 inches high with a slight decorative bevel at the top. there is no gap between the baseboard and the wood floors. i sort of feel i could get away with not bothering with quarter round molding in this one bedroom where this is the case, but i wonder is quarter round molding considered necessary in this situation to create what is considered a finished look? to me, it looks fine, but i wonder what others might think.

I need a battery operated micro water pump (with 1/4" tubing) that pumps between 45--65 gallons of water per hour (GPH). Where might one be sold? (Either online or a specific store. I don't want to get anything from eBay.)

I recently purchased a house and noticed that a particular toilet in the house always smells. I'm not sure if it's the toilet water or the bowl itself or what, but I can't figure it out. I clean the toilet constantly with 409 and Lysol and have tried using the 2000flushes product to clean the toilet bowl water, but nothing seems to help. Does anyone know what could be wrong? The odor that comes from the toilet is extremely bad and only comes from this particular bathroom.

It was disgusting but I got all the urine calk off of there and cleaned it with alcohol and calked it with new calk. Now it still smells like urine in there and it's been 4 days. What do I need to do to fix this and make this smell go away??

I bought my husband a router for Christmas. The manual states that it is table mountable but additional hardware is needed. It does not state what hardware though. I would like to be able to include this bracket (or whatever it is) in for a complete gift. What do I need to purchase? The Router is a Cummins if that makes a difference.

I'm planning on doing a lot of framing and wonder if I can use my clipped-head nailer or should I buy a Round-Head one. What are code inspectors saying about clipped nails and can or should I use them.

I am planning to paint but due to budget, this time I may try a cheaper paint from home depot ($18 per Galon) rather than what I used to use CIL ($28 per Galon). Does it really matter? because I have whole house interior to paint for 2 coats, the cheaper paint can save me about $500 in total. Your advice please

My BF (condo-owner) insists on laying the cable. Can you lay cable over/around a doorframe? I don't think so. Is there a code on that? I'm not sure. I'm thinking lay it under the hardwood floor to get it across the room, not around the door frame. He says that's too difficult, afraid of breaking the planks. What's the best way to do this?

In my old condo, I had the cable layed under the hardwood floors throughout my place. I had extra hardwood planks, my BF doesn't have any extra for his.

Need help, some solid advice or suggestions.

I was thinking about punching holes in pieces of paper and stringing them up or putting them in a binder. I'll use a glue stick to stick on the pictures. Is that ok? I don't get to see my dad often, so I came up with this idea for a Christmas present.
