Just installed a new built up floor in the bath room. Now toilet flange is too low to get a tight seal even with with a thicker wax ring. New floor is about 7/8" above old flange while ring sets about 1/4" into receased bottom of toilet. Need a solution. Use a 2nd wax ring? Flange extender(s)? What types of sealants or gaskets would I need? Thanks.

The floor slopes down about 6 inches in the middle where there was a drain. The garage doors are already filled in otherwise I know I probably should have just capped it with a layer of concrete to level it. To late for that though. I have been told to use treated 2 x 4's attached around the outside of the floor. Anything else you can add?
Thanks!

I am finishing my basement. I need to be able to heat the basement. The rest of my house is heated by electric baseboard heat. There is a old woodstove in the basement but the chimney is cracked and i'm not sure i want to use wood.

I've tried working with para/soy wax, but it is so oily and does not hold color well or give a good scent throw. I am looking for a wax that can hold a "knock your socks off" fragrance. I am also looking for supplies, if anybody has any they are willing to sell, please let me know, I will pay a fair price.
