We have already tried straight bleach. Any other suggestions. We are going to use a power sprayer also.

Try Zinser JoMax mold and mildew remover. You mix it with water and bleach then apply it by brush or low pressure sprayer. Don't apply it in direct sun or it will dry too soon. Let it sit for an hour or so then use a stiff brush and hose to rinse it off. I would not pressure wash it. The pressure washer will scatter the mold and the chemicals like an aerosol spray. If any of the mold survives the JoMax it can fly to other places and take hold or worse, anyone nearby could breathe it in. Make sure you protect plants or shrubs from the runoff.

A weak solution of clorox (maybe 1 to 4) might do it. If it doesn't, I agree with Cody C. Get a pro to do it. The real problem is getting at the moldy areas. Climbing a ladder can be dangerous. Get some quotes. It shouldn't be too expensive. In the long run, I think you will feel it was worth the money. Hope this helps.

If it was me, I would replace the molded area completely, after removing the mold check studs, insulation and all around the area. sounds expensive but mold will cause health problem. GET IT FIX FAST!! with that being said if you get someone to do this be sure they are license, bonded, and insured. I'm also a contractor and know there are a lot of people out there working illegally.

a simple solution of a good chlorine bleach and water will do the trick. just spray it on real heavy and forget it. Don't call a proffesional. they will charge an arm and a leg. The only way any mold is harmful to people is if they have an allergy to it.

The power sprayer should do it unless you have a very porous surface.

I would suggest getting it professionaly removed. Thats really bad stuff. Had a friend that had to completely ditch his place because of it.

My husband uses liquid comet cleanser and water solution and uses a carwash brush and scrubs it. We get it on our roof, that really cleans it well and hasn't hurt my flowers and shrubs growing below.

I'd try vinegar... Then I'd try baking soda in water.

Then I'd give up and move out.
