OFF hand.. I would say a wet cut.. You did not say whether it was ceramic tile or porcelain tile... that would definitely make a difference but in either case.. I still favor the wet cut.. DEFINITELY if it was a porcelain tile

A dry cut is usually easier, but the wet is safer w/ regard to damaging the tile.

Big hole that, I'd go for a wet cut myself, less wear on the cutter for one thing, let alone the potential damage to the tiles.

I've always cut dry when doing tiles. I think it's more personal preference than anything else. What ever makes you happy.

id go for the wet cut.. it reduces chipping and dust. its just the way i have always been taught. in the end it is personal prefference
