we recently shifted to a new house....the interior walls are rough and havent been smoothened; in a few areas there are large water soaked discoloured patches;there is already a pinkish cream coloured paint applied all over;the house is quite large......how much would smoothening and paint work cost?
we cant afford any huge expenses right now ..... do you think we can do it by ourselves without expensive manual labour('coz we are willing 2 devote our time n energy for it!)
help!!!asap!!!

ok, so I let my husband pick out the floor tiles for our new bathroom floor... he picked out a cobalt blue ceramic tile... Its nice, but my question is what color do we paint the walls? The grout is gray, my toilet and shower are both white as is my vanity top. My vanity is an oak color. There is only one small window in the room and ceilings are standard hight. I dont want to close the room in and I want it too feel relaxing... Thought about a gray or tan... any other colors that would go nice? Besides white!

I have searched the internet tirelessly and cannot find any information.

The china is marked on the bottom with Mayfair fine bone china, made in Japan with a picture of a rose.

The pattern is silver-colored scrolling leaf - almost like a laurel. I think the set is roughly 60 years old, but would love to find out more.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I used to be able to get this at Walgreens and Target, but neither has it anymore. I don't want to have to order online somewhere and pay shipping. Does anyone know a common retail store where I can buy this? This is for decorative oil lamps, the kind with wicks.

This is for an extra unfinished room behind my garage that my dog sleeps in at night. He goes to the bathroom on the floor and it is terribly hard to clean concrete...I need a smooth surface that I could possibly even mop...should I use dyed concrete to even the floor out or would it be easier to tile it? Also looking for kind of a cheap option that I could do myself. Suggestions?

it is an older house very small on one wall the bedroom doors are off the livingroom, on the other there is two windows, on the shorter walls is the entrance into the livingroom from out side and the other short wall in entrance into the kitchen, the living room is long but is cut inhalf with furniture couch loveseat and tv at one end, and dining room set with buffet and hutch at the other, would you paint it all one color or try and break it up into two rooms
