black what we see when all colors are absorbed. white is what we see when all colors are present. some people think it's the opposite, which would make sense. so, i guess black would be the absence of all colors.

It is classified as a color, but when you are dealing with pigments, it is all colors mixed together, and when you are talking about light, it is the absence of all color.

It is called a primary..not a color or tint..
