In the living room we will have tan couch and chairs with a shade of green for carpet (I forget what shade it is), and the bf is very big on everything matching!
What Im having trouble with is the bathroom colors!!
What are some good/modern bathroom colors that will go in sequence with the living room.
Also kitchen ideas would be very helpful as well!!
Please?

Try maroon or wine colors. The reds go great with greens and tan. Whatever color you use, don't over do it, just add enough to break up the floor color and sofa colors.

Paint the bathroom walls celery/sage green. Use a stripped shower curtain that has both tan and green in it. Add towels in a rich tan color.

Don't buy all that matchy-matchy tacky-tacky stuff. Use your imagination to make the room come alive. A nice willow basket or a huge ceramic flower pot to hold extra toilet tissue where it will be accessible. A couple of books on the back of the toilet with a lamp or candles on top.A clock on the wall is great when getting ready for work. a picture or two that combine these colors, a small mirror on a narrow wall, a green plant to compliment the green on the walls.

Your room is going to look like a designer did it and not like it came from wal-mart (even if the towels and shower curtain and accessories do!
:~)

I like silver or grey for a bathroom- chrome accessories look very modern. Matches nicely with any color towels or rugs, so you could go with tan or green.
It's kind of retro, but I love yellow in kitchens. Yellow would look nice with the living room colors as well.

I suggest you paint the walls in the bathroom an off-white or light beige, then put sage green bathmats on the floor. As far as the shower curtain is concerned, any of these colors will look great: white, sage green, light beige. Although, I suggest the white or the green. Then a nice marble (or faux marble) bathroom set (soap dish, toothbrush holder, etc.) would look nice. If you want to match the towels as well, I suggest a nice sage or light green, as well as white and beige towels mixed in.

I would put cream/almond (like sand) and a soft green (like sea) for the bath. Or just the cream with bronze fixtures. BTW I guess YOU know everything doesn't have to match.
