I am looking for hot pink bedding. Not to expensive. Preferbably a pattern. But if there is a neat solid one I'll take it. And I can't buy it until my brother moves out so that will probably be in 1-2 months. I've tried pbteen, walmart, kmart, sears, overstock, ikea, urbanoutfitters, target, delias, lnt, bedbathandbeyond, frankies, teen themes, and a few more. And I'm going to be 16 this year so nothing childish.

This is my first year teaching 5th grade and...first year teaching EVER period. Walking into my "blank slate" room for the first time was very overwhelming. I have 3 large bulletin boards, one about half the size, and bulletin board "borders" on top of each. Yes, a lot to work with. So far, the room is looking "alright" since I've covered about half of them. Maybe it's just my confidence right now, but I feel like it doens't look "right." I guess my big concern is...how can I look at all of these colors and borders and feel like they "match" or mesh? I Feel like I have a green board here with seasonal trim, on top of that a yellow border with math word problem trim; just really all over the place!! Is this normal, though? And YES, i Know that this will not really matter because there are more important things, but I want the kids to walk in teh first day and be completely in love with the room and feel comfortable!! HELP!!!! I will take suggestions (esp. with colors!).

You know, those windows that are put on the ceiling of a house. They mostly put it in like bathrooms, or above staircases.

My boyfriend and his best friend just moved into a house together. I wanted to get them a house warming gift. But I didn't want to get them girly stuff, since I am a girl and usually tend to shop in a woman's mindset. I want to get them something that is manly yet decorative and homey for their bachelor pad. Have any ideas?

I have the hardest time throwing out things. My mother and father have imbedded into my head not to waste. I have books, cds, computer stuff, clothes. Until recently it didn't bother me until I got married. I want an apartment that looks like the NYC apartments in Metropolitan Home, but on a low budget. What can i do to prioritize?

The walls are currently white. There's not a whole lot of light in the room (its a finished basement with two large windows, located beneathe our deck). The rest of my house is neutral, greens, beiges, and creams. I'd like to decorate the playroom so that it appeals to both boys and girls. Should I be looking into paint shades that are warm or cool?

When I applied the new paint, it won't stick and is peeling. It seems there is some kind of rubbery residue there. How can I fix this so I can paint and it doesn't bubble and look a mess? I thought this seemed too easy to just wet it and scrape it. :(

When we paint a room we usually paint the ceiling first then we go to paint the walls. I have been decorating and chose different colors for the walls but all the ceilings are white.

No matter what trimmer or brush we use we almost always end up slopping the edges and getting some color on the ceiling. then we have to wait for it to dry and go back and touch up.
Are we doing something wrong? What is the best way to get a clean edge ? We use painters tape for the trim work but I never heard of anyone using it for the entire ceiling.

I want to paint our bedroom and I need a little help. My bedroom is a long rectangle. My bed sits under the only window and partially blocks it so I can't do alot for window treatment. Should I paint all 4 walls one color or should I have an accent wall with a different shade? the color is a honey yellow. if so which one should be an accent wall? I can't paint the ceiling. Floors are hardwood. I appreciate any help anyone can offer.

My boyfriend and I moved into a house recently and want to decorate our walls. Where can I find cool artwork that fits our age group? We are in our 20's and are open minded about any kind of art work. Any ideas where to shop for cheap, or any pieces that are mass produced that would look good in our house?
